I was really pleased with my weigh in.
So why oh why does something bad have to happen straight after...

The path by the building where the Slimming club is held, is very dark and uneven...Yes you guessed right....I took a tumble.
I fell and bent my little finger right back on my left hand!
I really thought I had broken it!!! In fact the jury is still out on that one!!!Its really swollen and black and blue!!!
What a complete dope I am!!

A friend at work asked me to make a Valentines for her fella...she said she wanted it Sexy but Classy!

This is what I came up with.

The black shimmer card is from craftwork cards.
I used a Basque template, red ribbon, the small hearts are peel offs the larger are gems (in the flesh they do not look purple...that would be the flash on the camera!)The Basque is layered onto a red leather look paper then black shimmery card torn and layered. The wording I cut from liquorice allsorts paper from craftwork cards
the "love” is just coloured on peel off lettering. I mounted in a slide mailer that I had given the Tim Holtz distress ink treatment, then embossed with UTEE.(again there isn’t a purpley colour in the flesh!!)
I finished off by doing the inner of the card, I used some silver grey shimmer paper.folded... then layered the leather look red paper then the shimmer black

What do you think of my new back ground?

I went with the Marilyn template.... well because I have always admired and sympathized with her...such a natural beauty, who looked fab with or without her face on. Who was all woman, who looked gorgeous whether she was a size 10 or a 16! A much misunderstood lady who’s constant search for love and understanding eventually led to her untimely passing.

MOTIVATION

After taking alook at my fellow crafter Deannes blog...I decided to take a leaf out of her book...
Im going to share with you what is motivating me to shed at least 6 stone!!!

This is me 7 years ago...I lost lots of weight on the SLIMMING WORLD plan.
ooooh lala....We were going on our 2nd honey moon..va va voom!!!

Things are emotionally very hard going at the mo!

And to top it off I have lost my creative mojo!
I have looked every where for it, but still its lost!
This is not good as I have been asked to make party invites, which I have made a start in but really am not happy with!
